  Lastly, both the dentist and the assistant used the patients dental chair as some sort of 'anchor' as they were grabbing it to move around the room which resulted in some jostling.

  As far as facilities and the reception staff go, I found them to be just fine and didn't have a problem with them.

  I also know that this was not just a 'one off' experience because a family member also had the same bad experience with the same dentist roughly a week prior.

  I will also mention that this was the most soaked I've ever gotten during a scale and clean. It is unrealistic to expect that you won't get any water on you at all but they got water all over my face and shirt - I'm not sure if this is a skill issue with the assistant or a technical malfunction with the suction.

  I have taken my 2 elderly parents to see Dr Emma Pennie and was impressed with her patience and the care shown towards them. We will definitely be back.

  Just come from my first visit to DB Currambine and it was the single worst experience for customer satisfaction that I have ever had. The woman who treated me for a simple scale and clean, Emma, was too rough and very dismissive. Not at all concerned with my comfort. I had the general feeling of them trying to get through as many patients in as little time as possible because it was also the shortest appointment I have ever had. I felt that the lady that treated me did a 'rush job' and didn't take the time to clean all of my teeth properly as that part of the job probably was finished in 1 minuet flat. The calculus removal was very rough and painful - I personally have only ever experienced a small prickling sensation that has never left any lasting pain but this time it did and going on about 1 hr later my gums are still sore.
